Regional climate agenda in the context of Doha outcomes
The developing countries are suffering huge losses due to lack of climate finance and non-cooperation among the rich and poor countries. In a panel discussion “Regional Climate Agenda in the Context of Doha Outcomes”, at 15th Sustainable Development Conference organized by SDPI here at Islamabad, the speakers call upon the developed world to provide funds to the developing countries so that they can cope up with the challenges of climate change. To prevent further losses, they suggest, there is dire need of cooperation among the regions in terms of adaptation, agriculture, food security, water and more importantly, energy crisis.
